Now don’t everyone raise your hand all at once. I know you, and y’all have said that marketing has been on the top of your to-do list for awhile and yet it feels like a mountain to climb, so y’all just have to make the time for it..
In today’s session, we chat with Dan Caldwell who has been on the show before (Episode 62). Today he shares an update on how he has diversified his business to continue to build his dream business.
Dan was born in Memphis, TN and has lived in Dallas, TX (Go Cowboys!), Anchorage AK, Portland OR, and has resided in Houston since 1993. Dan has been happily married to his best friend for the past 6+ years. Dan has a daughter who he adores “more than anything in this world”. Dan is a fan of all things sports (Cowboys, Astros, Rockets, Liberty Flames).
Dan began his career in the helping profession at Memorial Herman Prevention and Recovery Center (PaRC) in March, 2011 as a LCDC Intern. He was hired as a detox counselor later that same year and worked that position for about three years. He then worked with the Day Intensive Outpatient Program for about four years. “I love the counseling profession as enables me to be a very small part of so many people’s journey of change”. Dan is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor – Certified Clinical Supervisor registered with the state of Texas and an Alcohol it Drug Counselor and Licensed through the International Certification & Reciprocity Consortium (IC & RC).
In January of 2018 Dan became a Community Liaison for PaRC covering a large portion of the Houston area. This position enabled him to meet a variety of physicians, therapists, attorneys, and others in the field of addiction recovery. Dan is currently pursuing a MA in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and is scheduled to complete his degree in spring 2020. He resigned from the PaRC after almost nine years in pursuit of his private practice, Caldwell Counseling Center.
