Having a practice that you love is something we talk a lot
about in the Fearless Practitioners community. In today's show I
chat with Kori Kostka about how she wanted to find a better way to
be herself as a practitioner and show up for her clients.
Kori discusses how she got clear on how she wanted to practice, shifted her mindset, and overcame those limiting thoughts that come from comparing herself to others. Learn how she followed her passion and cultivated joy and purpose in her practice, and how you can begin that process in your practice too.
My name is Kori Kostka and I have been a Registered Dietitian for 10 years! I started off as your typical meal planning RD, working on an acute medical floor in a hospital, but quickly realized I needed more, just like my clients. I shifted into primary care where I fell even more in love with counselling.
Overcoming my own fears and blocks of starting and running a business, after two failed attempts, I finally made the move to start up my online mindful eating business, where I coach clients mindful eating but also other Registered Dietitians on how to coach mindful eating and how to use motivational interviewing. I just added a new program “Attracting Clients to your Weight Neutral Practice”, which I am super excited to share to help RDs who practice Health At Every Size® gain momentum in our diet-obsessed culture.
